Just one of the three Washington County high school volleyball teams will continue onto the district finals round after subdistrict competition.
The Blair Bears earned a 3-1 win against Schuyler on Tuesday during the Class B4 Subdistrict Tournament at BHS. The Bears (11-15 overall) won 25-11, 25-11, 22-25, 25-23 and will next play Saturday against at No. 1 Norris. The district finals match begins at 10 a.m.
The Arlington Eagles and Fort Calhoun Pioneers, meanwhile, lost 3-1 Class C1-6 Subdistrict Tournament matches Monday at North Bend Central. The Eagles fell to Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, finishing the year 14-12.
The Pioneers lost to West Point-Beemer and close out 2021 with a 4-26 record.
