When Morgan Rump crossed the stage Sunday, he was the sixth generation of his family to graduate from Blair High School.
The 2021 grad's mother, grandmother, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather and great-great-great-grandfather earned their diplomas from BHS.
John A. Rhoades, Morgan's great-great-great-grandfather, was one of two graduates in 1892. The ceremony was held in the Methodist church. The other graduate was Adele French.
Great-great grandfather J. Hilton Rhoades graduated in 1925.
Ken Rhoades received his diploma in 1948, while Candy (Rhoades) Suverkrubbe graduated in 1970.
Morgan's mother, Mindy (Suverkrubbe) Rump, graduated in 1991.
