Robert L. Frahm, age 73, passed away Jan. 20, 2021, at Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha. A celebration of life will be held Sunday, April 18, 2021, in the Rybin Building at the Washington County Fairgrounds beginning at 1 p.m.

Bob was born on Feb. 5, 1947, in Omaha, the son of Edgar and Lorraine (Rasmussen) Frahm. He was raised on a farm southwest of Fort Calhoun and attended Plainview Country School through the 8th grade and then attended and graduated from Fort Calhoun High School in 1965. In August 1966, he joined the U.S. Army Reserves and served until his honorable discharge in 1972. On Feb. 11, 1967, he was united in marriage to Jane Nordgren in Omaha. After the wedding, the couple made their home in Omaha and Bob worked at Vickers. In 1968, the couple moved back to Fort Calhoun where Bob farmed, along with his father. He also began working for the United States Postal Service and worked there for over 30 years, retiring in 2007. In 1985, Bob purchased his own farm north of Bennington where the family still resides. Bob enjoyed family vacations in Minnesota during the summers and other family trips over the years.

He is survived by his wife, Janie; children, Andrew and Amy; granddaughter, Madyson; brother, Ronald; sister, Nancy (Jon) Maloney; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant son Daniel Robert, sister Ruth Boham and nephew Chuck Delavan.
