The NSAA recently announced its Winter 2022-2023 Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association Academic All-State Awards with 14 Washington County student-athletes receiving the honor.
Blair wrestling's Luke Frost, Hudson Loges and Jo Inget were recognized, as was Arlington wrestling's Jaydin Allen. Fort Calhoun wrestlers Ely and Lance Olberding claimed the honor as well.
In basketball, the Pioneers' Grayson Bouwman, Austin Welchert, Bria Bench and Sam Brewer all met the criteria, as did the Eagles' Schuyler Logemann, Tyler Ott, Libby Hegemann and Emme Timm.
AHS' Joseph Burns and Kolby Tighe were also recognized for their efforts in speech.
The county students were nominated by their schools for their individual academic excellence, leadership and their significant contributions to their NSAA activity, according to an NSAA release.
