The community can still get nutritious drinks on Washington Street with a new owner and slightly different name — Blair Nutrition. The health club will open July 18 at 1526 Washington St. in the Blair One Plaza.
Owner Jordyn Smith also owns a similar store, On Pointe Nutrition, in Village Pointe in Omaha.
"It will be the same type of products as offered before," she said. "I've always wanted to open a store in Blair and when the opportunity came and I jumped on it."
Smith graduated from Blair High School and also taught at the high school during the 2020-21 school year.
The store will sell Herbalife protein shakes, energizing teas and protein coffees.
"Eventually we will do acai bowls, but to get started we will do the basic things and add those in later," she said.
Smith said she got into the business because Herbalife helped her on her weight loss journey.
"I love what it does and it helped me a lot," she said.
