Lisa K. Casciola, 58

Posted

In loving memory of Lisa K. Charleston Casciola, 58, who passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021, in Las Vegas, Nev. Her loss was unexpected, and her family is shocked and deeply saddened.

Lisa was born on July 13, 1962, to Richard and Ardell Charleston in Holdrege. She attended Blair High School, graduating in 1980, and continued her education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Lisa later moved to California where she met Guy while working at Configurations. They moved to Las Vegas and became parents to Ambur in 1997. She worked in real estate for several years and she later spent many years of her life caring for young children in her home. Anyone who knew Lisa, knew that she was a caring and thoughtful person. She cherished moments spent at home with her husband and daughter watching scary movies. Lisa was a quick-witted Nebraskan girl who “worshes” her car. As a true Midwesterner, Lisa loved her a great steak with potatoes, even better with a 7/11 Big Gulp. She loved to bake and decorate elaborate cakes with Ambur, often spending many hours perfecting custom cakes for loved ones. Lisa also enjoyed crafts, rock music and was a Star Trek fan, a true Trekkie.

Lisa is survived by her husband of 25 years, Guy Casciola, Las Vegas, and daughter, Ambur Casciola, San Diego; her parents, Richard and Ardell Charleston, Las Vegas; her brother, Daniel Charleston, Cayman Islands. She is also survived by her loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and long-time friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held in Las Vegas. In lieu of flowers, please share any great photos or memories of Lisa for the family to enjoy.
