Linda S. Lippincott, age 62, of Blair, passed away March 14, 2022, at her home in Blair. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022, at the American Legion in Blair from 2 to 5 p.m.
Linda was born March 6, 1960, in Blair to parents Howard and Imogene (Dennis) Andersen. She graduated from Blair High School in 1978. She married Jim Sumey on Aug. 8, 1980. They had one son, Wyatt Sumey. She married Gordon Lippincott on May 10, 1991. Linda will be remembered for her deep love of family especially the time spent with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband Gordon, son Wyatt (Kristen) Sumey, stepsons Chad Lippincott and Adam (Kristy) Lippincott, grandchildren; Rhett, Weston and Payton Sumey, Brandon Bowman, Brittany Bowman and friend Jose Martinez, Kiercy (Phillip) Rasmussen, Karisa Lippincott, Cooper and Canton Lippincott, great grandchildren; Braelyn and Jayden Lippincott, Oliver Rasmussen, Khloe and Kinzley Martinez, mother Imogene (Dale “Asa”) Albus, brother Tom (Linda) Andersen, sisters; Kathy Frahm, Julie Anderson, Amy (Shawn) Thallas, stepsisters; Connie (Randy) Rasmussen, Dianne Jahn and friend Dave Haverfield, Amy (Rob) Divis, Lisa (Jeff) Soberalski, stepbrother Bill Albus and brother-in-law James Gutschow; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Leonard and Marian Mathiesen,and Christian and Clare Andersen; father Howard Andersen; stepfather John Lutz, stepsister Pam Gutschow; brothers-in-law Dan Frahm and Donald Jahn, mother and father-in-law Donald and Henrietta Lippincott and daughter-in-law Sheila Lippincott.
