With the opening of a downtown office in Blair, Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Realtor Libby Long promises a state-of-the-art experience for buyers and sellers.
Using artificial intelligence, advanced marketing techniques, and high-end photography and video, including drone footage, Long said she is on the “cutting edge” in a dynamic real estate environment.
“We are bringing in a new age that is going to get more eyes on properties for our sellers,” Long said.
Long’s office is located at 1762 Washington St., the first for Berkshire Hathaway in Blair. While an official ribbon-cutting ceremony was held last Thursday, Long has served the community for the last four years out of her Omaha office. She estimates 65 percent of her business has been in Washington County.
“We are growing, and we are going through growth spurts, and there’s challenges with that,” Long said. “That’s why I wanted to be closer here, so I can help be a part of that change and growth.”
The boom in area sales allowed her to open her office closer to home and avoid a time-wasting commute. A Blair native, Long lives in town with her husband, Rory, and two children.
“I get to see my community. I want to be involved in my community, especially as my kids get older,” she said.
In her four years at Berkshire Hathaway, Long has thrived. She was named a 2023 Top 100 Realtors and earned a Gold Award from the Berkshire Hathaway Chairman’s Circle. Year to date, she said she is 23rd out of around 3,000 BHHS realtors in volume of sales.
“When you get to sell a house to someone who is just so excited, and it's a good house, that is the best feeling,” Long said.
