LEGION UPDATE: Blair Juniors close season with 2-2 state run

The Blair Junior Legion baseball team was eliminated from state title contention Tuesday in Waverly, dropping a 5-2 game to Beatrice.
The Bears finish their Class B Junior State Tournament run 2-2. They were 24-7 this season.
Post 154 fell behind 2-0 against Beatrice before scoring twice during the third frame when Greyson Kay hit into an error. The play plated both Eli Morgan and Ethan Baessler.
Beatrice scored the go-ahead runs during the bottom of the fourth inning and held its 5-2 advantage through the end of the semifinals game. Hayden Berg, Morgan and Hunter Travis singled during the seventh frame, but Blair was unable to complete the comeback.
