Kent H. Wilcox, age 64 of Blair, passed away November 21, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his family. Public viewing will be held Tuesday, November 24 at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair from 1:00 to 8:00PM. A live stream of the service will be available Wednesday November 25 at 10:30AM on Campbell Aman's Facebook Page, a recording of the service will be available later Wednesday at www.campbellaman.com.
Kent was born on August 14, 1956, the son of Harley "Lyle" and Elsie Wilcox. Kent lived in Blair his entire life. He graduated from Blair High School and The Colorado School of Banking.
On September 8, 1984 he was united in marriage to Rita Truhlsen at First Lutheran Church in Blair. The couple had two children; Blake and Karley. Kent was a devoted husband and father.
Kent worked at Washington County Bank, at Edward Schroeder CPA and most recently at Alvine and Associates. He served many years on the Washington County Board of Supervisors and was treasurer of First Lutheran Church in Blair. Throughout the years he had many colleagues who became very close friends.
Kent idolized his children and enjoyed spending time with them, he spent many evenings around the dinner table sharing meals and memories with his family.
Kent is survived by his wife Rita; children Blake (Amber) and Karley (Jake), sisters; Janice Cleaver and Mary (Tim) Mikesh, and his brother John. He is also survived by his father-in-law Kenny Truhlsen, brothers-in-law Randy (Lynda) and Ron (Rachel) Truhlsen, sister in law Karen (Richard) Madsen and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, mother-in-law Norma Truhlsen and numerous aunts and uncles.
