Gordon D. Lippincott, age 79, of Blair, passed away May 6th, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, June 12, 2022, at the American Legion in Blair from 2 to 5 p.m.
Gordon was born February 28, 1943, in Blair to Donald and Henrietta (Voss) Lippincott. He Graduated from Blair High school in 1961. He married Barbara S Penix on October 10, 1969. They had two sons Chad Lippincott and Adam Lippincott. He married Linda S. Sumey on May 10, 1991. Gordon, Gordy to most, will be remembered for his love of the outdoors and spending time with his family and friends which may or may not have included a mixed drink or two.
Survivors include sons Chad and Adam (Christy) Lippincott; stepson Wyatt (Kristen) Sumey; grandchildren, Brittany Bowman and partner Jose Martinez, Brandon Bowman, Kiercy (Phillip) Rasmussen, Karisa Lippincott, Cooper Lippincott and partner Page Rasmussen, Canton Lippincott; and great grandchildren, Braelyn and Jayden Bowman, Khloe and Kinzley Martinez, Oliver Rasmussen, Rhett, Weston and Payton Sumey, Elle and Kolie Lippincott. Additionally, Gordon is survived by sisters Diane (Butch) Fisher and family, Elaine (Ed) Bishop and family, Linda (Jim) Longwell and family and Brother Jon (Donni) Lippincott and family, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Ephraim and Emma Lippincott, Henry and Myrtle Voss; parents Donald and Henrietta (Voss) Lippincott and daughter-in-law Sheila Lippincott.
