Geraldine “Gerrie” Dethlefs, age 84, of Fort Calhoun, passed away on Jan. 18, 2022, in Omaha. Geraldine was born on Nov. 30, 1937, in Omaha.
She is preceded in death by husband, Duane, brothers, John, Tom (Darlene) and Gene (Ginny) Dolly, sister, Virginia (Walt) Swanson, son-in-law, Tony Liles and granddaughter, Cassidy Dethlefs.
She is survived by sons Steven (Karen), Roger (Jill), and Matthew (Jennifer) Dethlefs, all of Omaha; daughter Jean Liles (Gregory Seery), Bellevue, NE; grandchildren Ashley (Adam) Young, Megan, Blake (Jayden), Connor (Megan) and Tessa Dethlefs, Eon Sena, Claire Sena, Danielle (Kevin) Greenwalt, and Beth (Parker) Cheney; sister-in-law Marilyn Dolly.
Visitation and Rosary services from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 21, 2022, with Rosary Service at 7 p.m., all at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church.
Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022, also at St. John’s.
Interment at Fort Calhoun Cemetery. Memorials suggested to Fort Calhoun Community Schools Foundation.
