The Fremont High School swimming team split Tuesday evening's duals at Lincoln Northeast.
The Tigers won the girls' dual, 108-58, but fell short in the boys' matchup, 89-85.
Washington County swimmers from Blair helped FHS to eight event wins with their efforts. BHS student-athletes Jane Busboom (200-yard freestyle), Ryleigh Schroeter (50 freestyle), Kennedy Zehner (100 freestyle and 100 backstroke) and Jacob Hanson (100 breastroke) all won individual events to go with their relay victories.
The 200-yard medley relay team of Schroeter, Zehner, Kami Spilinek and Alexis Rasmussen was first, too, as was the team of Rasmussen, Della Barrett, Schroeter and Busboom in the 200 freestyle race. Zehner, Busboom and Schroeter combined with Blair schoolmate Hannah Huenink to win the 400 freestyle relay as well.
Hanson earned a 400 relay victory with Elliot Vech, Garrett Nielsen and Zayne Keslar.
Notably, Busboom, Huenink, Blair's Mason Lau and Arlington's Dathan Hansen added second-place results against the Rockets as well.
Fremont was scheduled to swim in Lincoln on Thursday, too, but next competes Feb. 8 at Common Ground Community Center in Elkhorn.
