Sen. Deb Fischer made a stop in Blair on Thursday as part of her tour across Nebraska.
Fischer visited several small businesses, including KB Quality Meats, Prairie Star Botanicals and bra-ta boutique. She then had lunch at Butch's Deli.
Fischer also spent more than an hour at the Washington County Food Pantry to talk about the effects of the pandemic with Strategy Director Denise Cada.
Jordan Rishel, executive director of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce, said Fischer wanted to speak with the small businesses owners about how their doing and the impact of COVID on their business.
