Fort Calhoun wrestlers Trey McCoy, Ely Olberding and Lance Olberding completed unbeaten weekends Saturday at the Rumble in River Country dual tournament at Nebraska City.
Ely and McCoy improved to 8-0 over Thursday and Saturday with 5-0 Rumble efforts at 106 and 113 pounds, respectively. Lance Olberding, meanwhile, moved to 6-0 in contested matches at 120.
The Pioneers' work helped FCHS finish sixth out of 10 teams in Nebraska City. It beat Crete 42-36, tied Elkhorn at 42 — with the Antlers claiming the tiebreaker — and lost to Platteview, Plattsmouth and the host Pioneers during the event.
Jesse Hartline also went unbeaten for the Pioneers, claiming four wins at 220 pounds. John McKennan (two) and Grant Nixon (one) also earned contested wins on the day.
