Fort Calhoun senior Kaitlin Smith becomes a college soccer player next fall.
The Pioneer signed with the College of Saint Mary on Monday. She moves onto the Flames' roster from her Sporting Omaha Football Club team.
Smith is an attacking midfielder on the soccer field, but competed in volleyball, basketball and track while at FCHS. She also competes in trapshooting.
Saint Mary has signed three Washington County soccer players this year. Smith joins classmate Abbie Anderson and Blair's Faith Manion, who also signed with the Flames' program this month.
