Seven Fort Calhoun Pioneers were recognized with the recent release of the Class C1-1 All-District football team.
Austin Welchert, Grayson Bouwman, Colton Miles and Blake Welchert earned first-team honors, while Andrew Namuth, Alex Christensen and Levi Lasher took honorable mention.
Austin Welchert, FCHS' senior quarterback, threw for 1,515 yards and 13 touchdowns during the Pioneers' 4-5 season. His top target, junior Grayson Bouwman, caught 42 passes for 801 yards and 10 scores.
Freshman Blake Welchert, meanwhile, caught 28 passes for 360 yards and ran for 293 more. Miles, a sophomore, blocked for him on the offensive line, while also making 11 total tackles defensively.
Namuth (53 total tackles), Lasher (43) and Christensen (21) were key defensive contributors this past fall, too.
