District Update: AHS golf season closes at districts

The Arlington High School golf season ended Monday with the Class C District 2 Tournament at Fremont Golf Club.
Eddie Rosenthal shot the Eagles' low score as coach Scott Parson's team finished with 407 strokes overall. Rosenthal finished with 92 strokes, which was six out of a state qualification, and Jacob Meehan had 99.
AHS' Josh Hamre, meanwhile, took 101 swings and senior Frankie Rosenbalm had 115. Stokely Lewis added 131 strokes, too.
Columbus Scotus won the district with 322 strokes, qualifying for the Class C State Championships in Columbus alongside second-place Tekamah-Herman and third-place Fremont Bergan. Brady Davis of Bergan was the overall individual medalist, finishing with 76 swings.
