Washington County sheriff's deputies need help identifying two potential suspects responsible for numerous thefts that occurred Feb. 16 in Arlington.

Detective Sgt. Brian Beckman said the sheriff's office took 10 reports of items stolen from vehicles. Another 15 people reported their vehicles were rummaged through. A variety of items were taken, including a 1995 green and tan Dodge Ram single cab truck with tool box, firearms, multiple wallets, purses and cash.

“This happened all over Arlington,” he said.

Deputies obtained surveillance photos of the pair at Sapp Bros. Travel Center in Fremont after they allegedly used a stolen credit card.

Shortly after 4 a.m. the two male parties were observed using one of the stolen credit cards and driving the stolen truck and a dark colored Audi.

One of the suspects is described as a white male, dark hair, facial hair and a dark blue coat with quilted red shoulder pattern. The second is a white male with bright red shoes.

Anyone with information about the thefts or the alleged suspects is asked to contact the sheriff's office at 402-426-6866. Anyone who lives in Arlington and believes they may be a victim is also asked to contact law enforcement.
