Deborah Jean Everhart, age 73 of Blair, passed away Dec. 19, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, at 2 p.m., at Cherry Hill in Fort Calhoun. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
Debbie was born Dec. 2, 1949, in Omaha, the daughter of Eugene and Frances (Wilson) Saville. She attended and graduated from Blair High School. After high school she attended beauty college. She was married to Richard Everhart. Most of Debbie’s working life, she was employed in the food service or grocery industry. She will always be remembered for how important her faith was to her, and that truly showed with her work in children’s ministry. She enjoyed going to garage sales and looking for treasures, and eating out with family and friends. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, they were the lights of her life.
Debbie is survived by her children; M.P. Everhart, Holly (Chris) Baker and Laura (Jared) Tighe, father of her children Richard Everhart, grandchildren; Maggie and Trevor Everhart, Dalton, Emmett Gavin and Tregan Baker, and Catherine Tighe, brother Keith Saville, along with extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters Jennifer and Julia.
