Cynthia “Cindy” Louise Hollingshead, age 75 of Blair, passed away March 8, 2025. A celebration of life will be held Friday, March 14, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Private graveside services will be held in the Blair Cemetery.
Cindy was born March 24, 1949, in Blair, Nebraska, the daughter of Orland and Irene Cummings. She was a lifelong Blair resident. In her younger years she spent countless hours at her parents’ service station in Blair. In 1967 she graduated from Blair High School.
On November 23, 1968, she was united in marriage to Robert Hollingshead at First Christian Church in Blair. Cindy worked every day of the last 56 years, raising her children, Bobbi and Mike, as well as her career. She enjoyed weekend drives and traveling all over the United States. Cindy loved to travel. Cindy's family will always remember her cooking, especially during the holidays. She truly loved the time spent with her grandchildren and their friends.
Cindy is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert Hollingshead; her children; daughter Bobbi (Dan) Anderson and son Mike Hollingshead; grandchildren: David Anderson, Ahnna (Ryan) Kirchmeyer, along with her brother Rich Cummings, extended family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation to the Jeanette Hunt (Blair) Animal Shelter.
