Ryleigh Schroeter, Jane Busboom and Cade Arnett contributed to event wins Thursday as their Fremont High School swim team participated in a Lincoln Southeast triangular.
Schroeter, a Blair freshman, won the girls' 100-yard freestyle event in 57.18 seconds after Busboom — another BHS ninth-grader — joined her for the Tigers' first-place 200 medley relay race to open competition. The relay team stopped the clock in just 2:01.48, according to a Lincoln Journal Star report.
Arnett, meanwhile, contributed to three Fremont relay wins. The Arlington student-athlete swam on the 200 medley (1:44.01), 200 freestyle (1:36.49) and 400 freestyle (3:35.59) teams.
Overall, Fremont split its girls duals with Lincoln Southeast and Lincoln High, topping the Links 71-30. The Tiger boys, however, lost both of their matchups to the Lincoln schools.
