Easton Chaffee claimed fifth Tuesday as the Blair boys golf team earned ninth at Tiburon Golf Club during the Omaha Skutt Invite.
Chaffee shot an 18-hole 81, finishing just seven strokes out of first place. The Skyhawks' Jackson Lapour won the tournament, taking 74 swings while third-place Sam Arnold of Elkhorn took 75.
The Bears' Jake Stirek added a 91, while Cole Wilkins carded 104 and Adam Grote shot a 106. Cole Truhlsen finished with 107 swings, too.
BHS was scheduled to host a quadrangular Thursday at River Wilds Golf Club and next plays Saturday in Oakland. The Eastern Midlands Conference Tournament is then next Tuesday at Indian Creek Golf Course.
