The Three Rivers Public Health Department health district has reported 11,422 cases of COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic. There were 156 cases in the last 7 days and 327 cases in the past 14 days which is a decrease from the previous weeks.

“As a reminder we are now into flu season please get your flu shot if you are able, that is one more way to try to keep people as healthy as possible,” said Executive Director Terra Uhing. “Flu vaccinations are available at hospitals, pharmacies, private medical offices, federally qualified health care centers and some local health departments.”

Uhing said COVID-19 vaccines may now be administered at the same time as other vaccines, including the flu vaccine, for those who need both.

“This fall and winter – don’t wait to vaccinate for flu and COVID-19,” she said.

The health department announced two new COVID-19 related deaths. This brings the total COVID-19 related deaths in the health district to 146.

The health department has testing that is a collaborative partnership with Total Wellness. The testing site is a drive-through and appointments can be made at this link: https://www.totalwellnesshealth.com/private/3rphd/.
