Carolyn Larsen, 82

Carolyn Larsen, age 82, of Blair, went home to the Lord on July 31, 2021. Visitation will be held Tuesday, Aug. 3, beginning at 6 p.m. at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 4, at 10 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church on the Dana College campus, with graveside services following at the Blair Cemetery.

Carolyn Mary Moser was born to Bill and Pearl Moser of Rodman, Iowa, on April 27, 1939. She graduated from Rodman High School. Carolyn married the love of her life Ronnie Larsen, and she was blessed with five children, 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was one of the founding members of Christ Lutheran Church in Blair. She loved serving in “her” new kitchen at church. Gardening was a passion of hers and her lovely yard reflected it. She spent many years as a history re-enactor at Fort Atkinson and shared this experience with her grandkids and great-grandchildren. Later in life she rediscovered her love of painting and was proud to sell some of her work. Most of all she loved and cared for her family.

She is survived by her children, Deb Hope, Kim Pounds (Denny), Mike Davis (Amanda), Lisa Rasmussen (Kevin) and Chad Larsen (Amy); grandchildren, Shawn Hughes (Erica), Carrie Lyons (Aaron), Micheal Davis (Shannon), Taylen, Brayden, Trouse, and Chloe Davis, Jordan Bouvia (Robert), Auggie Rasmussen, Ben Larsen (Alesha), and Sam Larsen; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Jerri Hughes, Kayla and Paisley Lyons, Sophie, Jayden and William Davis, and Piper and Knox Bouvia.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ronnie Larsen, and her beloved granddaughter Jessica Rasmussen.
