The Nebraska Attack age 15 and younger girls basketball team won the Under Armour Association finals July 25 in Manheim, Pa.
Blair basketball players Addie Sullivan and Molly Ladwig were members of the victorious roster, which bested the Pennsylvania Comets during the national tournament's championship game, 61-57. The Attack, who are coached by Kevin Freeman and Connor O'Neil, finished 33-6 overall during their summer season, according to the Papillion Times' Peter Burtnett.
Sullivan will be a sophomore at Blair High School this school year after earning Eastern Midlands Conference honorable mention as a freshman. Ladwig, meanwhile, is transferring to Omaha Skutt after a second-team Class B all-state ninth-grade year with the Bears.
Together, the Blair hoopers helped guide BHS to its first Class B state tournament since 1998 in March. Just months later, they won a national tourney alongside some of Nebraska's finest underclassmen.
