Blair, Arlington golfers close out regular season in Oakland

The Blair and Arlington golf teams closed out their regular season schedules Saturday at Oakland Golf Club.
Three Bears medaled with top-15 performances. Mallory Stirek was fifth with 94 strokes, Anna Moore was ninth with 99 and Addie Stirek was 14th with 107. They, along with Litzy Ortiz (132 swings) and Tessa Nicholson (136), helped coach Ross Udey's team finish third in the team standings.
Arlington coach Jason Wiese said Kaylie Erwin shot 10 strokes better than last year at the same invite, while Sarah Rhea shot a personal best 124 on 18 holes. Erwin carded 125 strokes.
On Thursday, before the Oakland event, the BHS hosted a junior varsity scramble at River Wilds Golf Club. Coach Udey's team finished fourth.
District golf results for both BHS and the Eagles will be posted online Monday and today at enterprisepub.com/sports. The Bears were scheduled to compete Monday at River Wilds, while AHS competes back in Oakland today.

High School Golf
