The Blair High School Student Senate collected 332 teddy bears for Omaha Children's Hospital during a teddy bear drive, which ended March 9.

President Kolton Hammer and Vice President MaKenzie Mencke delivered the bears to the hospital Wednesday.

Student Senate adviser Brian Sandall told the Pilot-Tribune last month the teddy bear project was student driven.

“At meetings, we have brainstorming sessions essentially. They put up ideas,” he said. “Their ideas have been great. The whole group comes up with them. We've done all kinds of things.”
