The Blair boys and girls soccer teams will get a second chance at making their respective state tournaments Saturday as both earned Wild Card spots in the district finals.
The No. 13-seeded Blair boys (10-6) will take on No. 4 Mount Michael Benedictine (10-5) in the Class B-4 district final at 11 a.m. in Elkhorn.
The Bears have reached the state tournament 12 times — the last time in 2006.
The No. 9-seeded Blair girls (10-6) will take on No. 8 Lexington (13-4) in the Class B-8 district final at noon in Lexington.
The BHS girls have reached the state tournament four times. Their last appearance was in 2001.
