After a scoreless first half, the Blair boys soccer team found the back of the net four times Friday at Platteview High School during the second.
The Bears' 4-0 victory pushed their season record to 2-0. The hometown Trojans, meanwhile, fell to 2-3 in Class B play.
Coach Curt Scott's BHS lineup didn't register a goal through 40 minutes, but senior Gabe Zurek and junior Kip Tupa gave the Bears an early lead during the next 40. Andres Iniquez and Zurek then added goals No. 3 and 4, putting the match away in the road squad's favor.
Blair was scheduled to play Elkhorn North on Monday and next plays Thursday against Eastern Midlands Conference foe Waverly. The varsity match begins at 6:30 p.m. on the grass at Krantz Field.
