The Blair Family YMCA Swim Team participated alongside Nebraska's best youth swimmers Saturday at the state championship meet in Fremont.
The Barracudas raced in the Dillon Family Aquatics Center pool, starting at 9:30 a.m. after warmups at 8. Coaches Skylar Tatreau and Shannen Jennings led the youngster from the side.
Blair started its YMCA season in October with competitions each moth since. It's competed in multiple pools, including its own in December for the Brent Olson Memorial Swim Meet and February.
Next, select Barracudas may have the opportunity to compete at the North Central Regionals in Des Moines, Iowa, this weekend or the Midwest Regionals Swim Meet on March 26 in Minneapolis.
