Fort Calhoun track and field standout Angel Nelson cleared 15 feet, 3 inches last week during the season-opening meet, claiming first place honors at Nebraska Wesleyan. The Pioneer was nominated alongside Blair's Kip Tupa and Kaden Pittman of Arlington.
