AHS wrestlers go 0-4 at Kearney Catholic

The Arlington wrestling team went 0-4 in duals contested Saturday during the Kearney Catholic Duals tournament.
With an incomplete lineup, the Eagles lost to Wilber-Clatonia (57-20), Ravenna (54-29), Adams Central (51-30) and St. Paul (54-30). Adams Central, meanwhile, earned first in AHS' Gold pool.
Despite their team standing, three Eagles went unbeaten. Hunter Gilmore was 4-0 at 145 pounds with two pins and two technical falls in contested matches.
Josh Miller and Cade Podany, meanwhile, were 3-0 at 170 and 182 pounds, respectively. Both wrestlers won all three of their matches by pin. Podany earned two in less than a minute.
Arlington's Trey Hill (one), Will Eppenbaugh (one) and JoeSeth McBride (two) also earned wins during the trip to Kearney.
