Class D No. 1 Fremont Bergan swept Arlington on Tuesday, 3-0.
The Knights (5-3 overall) bested the Eagles 25-11, 25-20 and 25-16. The loss dropped coach Katarina Nelson's club to 4-2 this season.
“Not our best showing,” she said. “Unfortunately, we made a lot of errors and our energy was lacking.”
The loss was Arlington's first since Aug. 28 when it fell to Raymond Central, which improved to 4-3 Tuesday night. The Eagles have defeated Fort Calhoun, Nebraska City, Platteview and Omaha Gross this fall.
