Blair freshman team football player Nelson Kosch turns upfield Tuesday after a first-half catch against Bennington at Krantz Field. The Bears improved to 6-0 with a 17-7 victory, while the Otte Blair eighth-grade football team capped its season with same record with a 12-0 win in Columbus. Junior high teams from Fort Calhoun and Arlington were also in action on a busy night in Washington County seventh-, eighth- and ninth-grade football.

Junior high and freshman football teams from Fort Calhoun, Arlington and Blair competed in home games Tuesday evening. The junior high Pioneers played Logan View, the junior high Eagles faced West Point-Beemer and the ninth-grade Bears defeated Bennington, 17-7.
