Bears' football camps continue through end of month

Fifty-two offensive and defensive linemen moved tires, worked on stances and improved their footwork last week during Blair High School's first of four football camps this month.
The lineman-specific sessions were a first for the Bears. Coaches invited the participants in grades 3-12 to the practice field for the two-day, Thursday and Friday sessions.
Today, Blair's present and future passers will participate in the second day of the two-day BHS quarterback camp. Then, on Thursday and Friday, football players in grades 3-6 will take part in the annual Youth Football Camp conducted by head coach Bryan Soukup and company.
Lastly, to round out the busy schedule, middle school and high school Bears will have three-hour sessions July 26-29 in preparation for the start of fall practice in August.
All campers received and will receive T-shirts with their participation.
