Four Washington County cross-country runners were recently recognized with the release of the Nebraska Coaches Association's Super-State and All-State teams.
Arlington senior Keelianne Green was a headliner after earning her second-straight Class C state championship on Oct. 21 in Kearney. She was recognized as a Super-Stater, while teammate Hailey O'Daniel was designated an all-stater with her seventh-place finish.
On the boys' side, the NCA presented Class C All-State honors to Fort Calhoun senior brothers Ely and Lance Olberding. Ely was sixth at the NSAA State Championships, while Lance was seventh.
Overall, the FCHS boys team earned third in Class C this fall. The Blair Bears, who didn't receive postseason recognition from the NCA, took third in Class B, too.
