3 Eagles claim district football honors

Arlington High School football players Braden Monke, Weston Wollberg and Kaden Pittman were recently recognized by the Class C1-3 District for their play this fall.
Monke, a senior linebacker, was named a first-team all-district performer after totaling 34 total tackles this season in addition to his play on the offensive line.
Wollberg and Pittman, meanwhile, received honorable mention. Wollberg led AHS (0-9 overall) with 65 total tackles with a sack, while Pittman made 44 tackles. Pittman also ran for 258 yards and caught 15 passes for 95 more.
The C1-3 District champion Columbus Lakeview had eight first-team all-district players, while second-place Wahoo had six. A third team — Columbus Scotus — also reached postseason play with their efforts during the regular season.
