First off, I would like to give Nannen & Harte Physical Therapy Athlete of the Week honorable mention to Kaitlyn Johnson of the Blair girls basketball team.
Yoan Camejo absolutely, 100 percent, deserves this recognition, but the senior guard scored 25 points in a win against Bennington, too. She was just BHS’ Athlete of the Week representative a week ago, so I’m sticking with Camejo.
Altogether, we’re going all-in on wrestling because these guys earned it. Here's just a few details concerning the standout success of Lance Olberding, Camejo and Trey Hill.

Lance Olberding, Fort Calhoun wrestling: The senior Pioneer went 4-0 Saturday, leading FCHS to a second-place finish during an Omaha Northwest dual tournament. He added a fifth win against Louisville earlier in the week, too.

Yoan Camejo, Blair wrestling: The 160-pounder went 9-0 for the Bears this past week, securing five pins and a major decision along the way. He was the Bears’ winningest wrestler at the EMC Duals before claiming his weight class at the Rollin Dyer Invitational in Atlantic, Iowa.

Trey Hill, Arlington wrestling: The Eagle went 3-0 with three pins to win the Jack Murray Invite on Saturday. He’s 16-5 overall this season after qualifying for state a year ago.

Thanks for reading everyone. Make sure to check back Wednesday to watch our Athlete of the Week video interview with the overall winner, too.
