Two people injured in a rollover crash Sunday along state Highway 133 were in stable condition Tuesday, according to Capt. Aaron Brensel of the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies and Kennard and Fort Calhoun rescue personnel responded to the crash at approximately 9:30 p.m. in the area of Highway 133 and County Road P38A just south of the Blair Municipal Airport.

Driver Kimbra K. Jimenez, 33, of Fort Dodge, Iowa, was taken by medical helicopter to Nebraska Medicine, while passenger James E. Jonsson, 29, of Woodward, Iowa, was taken to the hospital by Kennard Rescue.

Jimenez was ejected from the vehicle when it rolled. The sheriff's office previously reported it was Jonsson who was ejected.

Brensel said the 2004 Ford Explorer that Jimenez was driving hit the rumble strips, causing her to overcorrect and roll the vehicle.

Alcohol is suspected as a factor in the crash. Brensel said deputies have filed paperwork to determine if Jimenez was under the influence.
