Deputies arrested Gabriel Horton, 41, on suspicion of driving under suspension following a stop at Highway 133 and County Road P30 at 1:59 a.m. July 25, and Nathan Peterson, 45, on the same allegation following a stop in Blair at 11:31 p.m. July 27.

Alison Callahan, 39, was arrested on an Omaha Police Department warrant following a stop at Highway 75 and County Road 40 on the evening of July 25. A traffic stop at mile marker 12 on Highway 133 at 2:11 a.m. July 29 resulted in the arrests of Ariane Colliers, 45, on Lancaster County and Douglas County warrants and two Omaha warrants, and Ajaiha Nunn, 33, on an Omaha warrant.

Deputies also arrested Vicky Kellogg in Herman on a Washington County warrant on the evening of July 28. Two attempts to serve warrants in Blair earlier that day resulted in no contact.

A vehicle struck a deer at Highway 75 and Power Lane on the morning of July 28, and deputies took a report. On July 30, deputies took reports on a property-damage crash involving a pickup truck and a farm tractor in the 3400 block of Highway 31 and a one-vehicle crash with minor injuries on County Road 27 south of County Road 22.

Deputies documented two hit-and-run cases involving county road signs. A curve warning sign in the 6600 block of Northridge Road was run over by an unknown vehicle and reported July 25. Deputies also located a downed sign at Highway 133 and County Road P26 early July 28 after Blair police reported a possible hit-and-run tied to a juvenile traffic stop. Both incidents were referred to the county roads department.

A driver whose vehicle ran out of gas at Highway 75 and Oak Valley Road on July 25 was driven to Blair for fuel and returned to the vehicle. Deputies also helped a stranded driver near Highway 133 and Highway 30 obtain fuel early July 28. An Amazon van backed into a ditch in the 4000 block of County Road P11 on July 26 while attempting to turn around.

A report was taken on an identity theft complaint at the sheriff's office July 27. Deputies fielded questions about a possible scam by phone July 28 and advised a resident receiving scam text messages July 30 to block the sender and not respond. A package theft from a mailbox in the 2500 block of Bluebird Lane was reported July 25.

Among the less routine calls, deputies untangled vines from the rear legs of an injured fawn at County Roads 28 and 41 on July 29 and released it. A bull that escaped near the 10200 block of Crystal Lake on July 26 was to be retrieved by the owner and a team later in the week. Deputies also assisted Douglas County authorities, aided by the Omaha police helicopter, in a July 25 search near County Road P51 for a missing woman who had been walking and became overheated. Deputies checked the area but made no contact.
