VILLAGE OF ARLINGTON PLANNING COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING APRIL 11, 2023, 6:30 p.m. The Arlington Planning Commission met in regular session at the Arlington Village Hall at 245 N 2nd Street, Arlington, NE. Micheal Dwyer called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Dwyer stated the official notice of the open meeting was published in the Arlington Citizen, Village Hall, Two Rivers Bank, and the Arlington Post Office. Dwyer stated, the Open Meetings Act is posted on the wall by the entrance to the Conference Room. Roll call was taken as follows: Charlie Reed, Present; Micheal Dwyer, Present; Steve Slykhuis, Present; Dean Wherley, Present. Motion was made and seconded to select Micheal Dwyer as Chairman of the Arlington Planning Commission. Roll call vote was taken. Motion passed unanimously. Motion made and seconded to recommend to the Arlington Board of Trustees approval of combining lots at 1180 Walnut Dr and 1070 W Ellsworth St owned by Charlie Reed. Roll call vote was taken. AYES: Dwyer, Slykhuis, Wherley. ABSTAIN: Reed. Motion was made and seconded to recommend to the Arlington Board of Trustees that the setback variance at 315 N 8th St. owned by Kevin Schutt be granted. Roll call vote was taken. Motion carried 4-0. Dwyer made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Reed seconded. Roll call vote was taken. Motion carried 4-0. Meeting adjourned at 7:22 p.m. ZNEZ AC 4-28-23
