The Arlington Senior Legion baseball team played three games Saturday and Sunday during a tournament in Valley, going 1-2.

The Post 71 Eagles finished off their stay with a 7-1 loss to Louisville on Sunday. Coach Ed Menking's team took a 1-0 lead during the third inning, but fell behind 5-1 when Louisville got on a roll in the fourth.

Pitchers Logan Kirk and Zach Vanek led Arlington with two strikeouts each.

The Eagles started their Valley tournament stay with a 1-1 Saturday. They defeated Syracuse 10-0 but lost to Lincoln Lutheran 4-0.

Against Syracuse, Arlington outhit its opponent 10-2. Rafe Lorsch had three to go with his five RBIs, while Cameron Bruning and Alek Timm batted in one run each. Timm also had two hits along with Kirk.

Braden Rump had 10 strikeouts to get the win on the mound.

Lincoln Lutheran, meanwhile, outhit Post 71 10-2. Arlington's Ryan Arnett pitched six innings and had three strikeouts in defeat.
