David K. Wolf, age 56 of Blair, passed away April 30, 2019. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 4, at 2:00 PM at Campbell Aman Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services, beginning at 1 PM.
David was born on December 13, 1962 in San Luis Obispo, California the son of Dana and Judy Wolf. In 1964, the family moved to Ames, Iowa where David grew up and began attending school. In 1971, the family moved to Decatur, Illinois and then in 1973, moved to Azle, Texas where David attended and graduated from high school. David attended Texas A&M and graduated with a degree in history.
David taught history at two different high schools in Texas, where he was well liked by his students. After moving from Texas to Nebraska, he worked for Omaha Steaks and as a secret shopper. David never knew a stranger and always enjoyed engaging people.
David is survived by his mother Judy Wolf of Blair; sister Diana (Mike) Lechtenberger of Omaha; niece Rachel (Preston) Thiemann; nephews: Kyle Lechtenberger, Chris Lechtenberger and significant other Logan Eby, and Aaron Lechtenberger; great niece Avery Jean Lechtenberger and special friend Sandy Gomez.
