The Washington County Fairgrounds was the setting for the 2013 Family Judging Contest on June 23. Families came to judge five classes of livestock consisting of cattle, sheep and swine. After the delightful supper, the families moved into the judging portion of the contest with the official placing by Buck Hoier. The results from the five divisions were as follows:

Novice Division

Taylor Arp, Andrew Korth, Ben Stork

Junior Division

Kendra Loseke-First; Kyle Quinn-Second; Walker Behnken-Third

Intermediate Division

Kelsey Loseke-First; Colton Wiemer-Second; Shelby Wachter-Third

Senior Division

Amanda Lambrecht-First; Bradie Schmidt-Second; Sam Neary-Third

Adult Female Division

Sarah Lambrecht, first; Michelle Strom, second

Adult Male Division

Kurt Loseke, first; John Neary, second

Top family - Kurt and Kari Loseke family

Second place family– Gary and Sarah Lambrecht family

Third place family- Kevin and Missy Wiemer family

The 4-H Office would like to thank the Korth, Lambrecht, Neary and Volk families for supplying the livestock; ABS Global, Inc and Golden Harvest, Lauritsen Ag for being event sponsors and the Washington County Fairboard for allowing the group to host the contest on the fairgrounds.
