The Blair Area Community Foundation (BACF) received a donation Friday from Evonik and its employees.

The BACF received $6,409 from Evonik. The funds included donations from employees and proceeds from events, which were matched by Evonik. Employees could donate to three different organizations, including BACF.

The money will be placed in the BACF's grant fund, Executive Director Bob Coffey said. That fund is used to provide grants for Washington County nonprofit organizations.
