Driver cited in rollover at Dana

A 16-year-old Blair boy was cited after a single-vehicle rollover Monday on the former Dana College campus. Lt. Aaron Barrow of the Blair Police Department said officers responded to the crash at about 8:15 p.m. The driver of the 2000 Ford Explorer admitted to officers that he had been driving at a high rate of speed in reverse and was attempting to make a 180-degree turn. The vehicle hit an uneven portion of the parking lot near the football field and flipped. Three other teens were in the vehicle at the time. None reported being injured. The teen was cited for willful reckless driving and released to his parents.
