Derek Williams and Morgan Kobs

Morgan Kobs and Derek Williams were married June 28, 2014, at a 5 p.m. ceremony at First Baptist Church in Tekamah, officiated by Pastor Greg Boller.

Parents of the couple are Steve and Audra Kobs, Brad and Lisa Williams and the late Julie Williams.

Grandparents of the couple are Les and Maxine Ray of Tekamah, Gerald and Donna Kobs of Blair, Norma Martin of Maxwell, Russ and Charlot Williams of Eustis and Darrell and Rhonda Bremer of Ord.

The maid of honor was Bailey Kobs, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were the bride’s cousins Kayce Kobs and Brooke Kobs, Valerie Matulka, Meredith Chesley, Alivia Braniff and junior bridesmaid Ansley Williams, the groom’s sister.

Brother of the groom, Darin Williams, served as best man. Groomsmen were cousins of the groom, Mark Weissert and Mason Weissert; brother of the bride, Seth Kobs; and Kris Herbig, Weston Keller and Scott Aden.

The flower girl and ring bearer were Layken Weissert, cousin of the groom, and Bladen Williams, brother of the groom.

The bride’s cousins, Ally Ray and Bria Kobs, lit the candles.

Special music was provided by Juli Morrow, Dru Kobs, cousin of the bride, and LuAnne Kobs, aunt of the bride.

The ushers were Mitch Whalen, Heath Hovendick, David Hueftle and Jeff Schroeder.

Dru Kobs and Megan Kottier were in charge of the guest book.

The reception was at the Rybin Building at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Arlington. Host couples were the bride’s uncles and aunts: Jim and Kelli Ray, Lowell and Kayla Kobs and John and Ann Kobs.

The groom graduated in 2008 from Eustis-Farnam High School and in 2012 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He is a rancher and is employed at Settje Agri-Services in Raymond.

The bride was a 2010 graduate of Blair High School and 2013 graduate of UNL. She is pursuing a master’s degree at the University of Nebraska in Kearney.

The newlyweds live in Eustis.
