MCC students take home medals from state SkillsUSA competition

Metropolitan Community College student, Nathan Blizzard of Fort Calhoun, Team C, won a Bronze medal at the annual SkillsUSA State Leadership Conference, held in Grand Island, April 11 – 13, 2019. Winners advance to the national championships this summer at the annual National Leadership and Skills Conference in Louisville, Kentucky, a showcase of career and technical education students.

The competition featured high school and college students from across Nebraska. Participants worked against the clock and each other, attempting to prove their expertise in various fields and include both college and high school dual enrollment students.
