The Oakland-Craig Lady Knights volleyball team continues to play well. They rolled over Wisner=Pilger last Tuesday and took runner-up in the Boone Central tournament extending their record to 8-2 on the season.

Conditions were far from ideal as the Wolverine Cross Country team opened their season at Logan View.  The nine competing schools battled temperatures in the nineties with high humidity, making the situation a challenge to run the 3.1 mile course.

This was the 7th annual appearance for the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association at the Burt County Fair. Though this was an abbreviated fair, the Mounted Shooting was one event that went on along with the livestock and 4H.
